Later this year, the staff of the Diabetes Centre in University Hospital Galway are organising a social event for young adults transitioning from the Paediatric service to the adult Type 1 Diabetes service in UHG. More details on this to follow. To raise money for this event they are organising a 50K Cycle for Diabetes on Saturday 1st October 2017 in Galway. They are looking for more people from the diabetes community to participate.

This is the third year of the cycle which is always well attended. In 2015, Irish professional cyclist with Team Novo Nordisk, Stephen Clancy lead the participants around the route and this year he may be doing the same. Here's a recent video he made invite us to join in.
