[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Thriveabetes is completely organised by volunteers from the Irish diabetes community. And we would like to keep that way for two reasons; 1) it means that Thriveabetes is owned by the diabetes community and 2) we keep the running costs down :-/ However, there are a couple of areas that the five of us don't really have much expertise in or absolutely cannot find the time to give. So, we would like to hear from anyone who would have both of those.
In return for giving up your time, we will give you credit for your work on our Organiser's web page here, complete with headshot and title, and cover your ticket to attend Thriveabetes. If you can help us out for either roles please email me at Grainne@thriveabetes.ie with which role you are offering in the subject bar.
The two roles available are;
Website Designer;
Task; make some improvements on the current design which uses WordPress, optimise it for viewing on mobile devices and do some work on our images.
We want to sharpen up our "look", without change the platform we use, make information easier to find and make some much needed improvements.

Delegate Programme Designer;
Task; to create an A5 conference programme, similar to last years (see below) using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Co-ordinate with exhibitors & sponsors requesting logos and ads. And get quotes from printers for it's publication.
Last year, our programme was thrown together the week before our event and it was not bad at all, if I do say so myself. However, this year I just don't have the time to create something wonderful and really need someone to do all of the grunt work on it.
